Hello,

24.05.2026 - 23:31 GMT +3:
We are currently experiencing intermittent network outages in our Dallas location. We have contacted datacenter and are waiting to hear back.

25.05.2026 - 03:31 GMT +3
At the moment, we have applied a temporary measure to re-route traffic isolating a frozen switch so service connectivity can be restored. Tomorrow we will work on replacing the switch, so there might be little bit intermittent downtime to bring us back to completely stable connectivity.

26.05.2026 - 06:30 GMT +3
During day of 25, while we were working on replacing the switch, eventually another switch also died, so we worked on rebuilding the network through different spare switches. while we are stable now, we will work on additional measures to try minimizing potential reasons for other incidents.

We are aware of an issue impacting services on our VPS nodes: BS-DAL-Xen-1 and BS-DALOVZ71. We are investigating the cause and will update this post with more info as we have it.

01.09.2024: At this point KVM has been requested from datacenter, but being Sunday there are no available technicians , so we will be provided one at Monday morning - earliest possible.

01.09.2024: This turned out to be CPU died due to fans failing and overheat. We migrated the disks and RAID card to an identical replacement server. It was able to boot, but then failed out of nowhere before we could even pull the data.

02.09.2024 - 03.09.2024 :

Next step was that we got a temporary replacement RAID card, which could make the server boot again. However, it also failed a couple minutes into the OS. Reboot resulted in one of the drives going offline and putting the array in Degraded mode.e.

Due to all of this, the host filesystem and some VPSes (including BS-DALOVZ71, which is a OpenVZ-Inside-Xen VPS) required a FSCK to get online - there was some data corruption. We did FSCK on the host system to get online.

Before we acted further, we managed to pull out all VPS-es to another Xen node having available resources - a XenStorage one.

FSCK was performed on our own VPS-es, which brought them online.

If your service is still not online, it probably needs a FSCK. This can be done over VNC access. If you experience any issue, open a ticket so we can help you out.

We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience caused by this accident and the prolonged downtime.

We will do our best to prevent this issue in the future and for the time being we have stopped selling Xen VPS-es.

Hello,

08.08.2024 13:57 GMT+2 - We are aware of an issue impacting services on our VPS node BS-DAL-Xen-3. We are investigating the cause and will update this post with more info as we have it.

09.08.2024 0:57 GMT+2 - The node suffered a RAID card failure. The DC had to provide 3 temporary replacements and only the third one worked, so that's the reason it took time to resolve the issue. We got the node online and migrated all VPS to a different machine, until replacement parts arrive to fix this server. For now all VPS should be online.

Additionally, all affected family members will be assigned a backup plan in our VPS control panel, allowing to create one snapshot of your VPS(further ones will delete the previous one). Please, by all means, use it. This will store the snapshot on a remote server, where we can restore from it in case of disasters ilke this. We don't want to loose anyone's data, so we will do our best to protect it.

Ongoing issue with bs-dal-e5kvm-4 VPS node. Node is unreachable.

Server was replaced from last incident and new box went down again.

We will post updates as we have them.

09.02.2024 18:06 GMT+2 We are waiting KVM delivery from datacenter.

09.02.2024 18:30 GMT+2 KVM Delivered. We are investigating.

09.02.2024 19:40 GMT+2 At this point, we concluded that RAID card has died on the node. We are checking available hot spares for immediate replacement with the datacenter.

09.02.2024 23:50 GMT+2 As our DC was working to replace the affected server (as we have no spare RAID card on site) and move disks around, one of the PDUs went offline bringing core network equipment down including some VPS nodes.
They are working on priority to fix the problem.

09.02.2024 07:00 GMT+2 None of our spare servers could boot from the RAID array from bs-dal-e5kvm4, we will be testing final one as soon as the datacenter team is available again. The other nodes should be available and working.

10.02.2024 19:30 GMT+2 Unfortunately the RAID array was unable to be recovered therefore we have full data loss on the server. Affected customers will be contacted to arrange compensation options.

10:14 PM GMT+2 Our equipment in Dallas is unreachable at the moment. We have datacenter team investigating the cause on site, pending further information.

01:29 AM GMT+2 After checking our entire equipment, our datacenter team discovered that our main distribution switch has had it's drive fail, therefore erasing the data on it.

We are already working on getting a replacement, however the bad part is that this happens on Friday afternoon/evening time, so it may take a day before we can get back online. We are working on sourcing the replacement, but faced with the bad timing and the limited staff available, it increases the possible recovery time.

What we are sure, is that no server is affected and the data is intact. Unfortunately, the entire network is offline and access to the data is impossible.

We are truly sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you and we will taking preventive measures to minimize impact in case such thing ever happens in the future.

We will update this announcement as we have more information.

08:30 AM GMT+2 We have installed a temporary replacement switch and everything should now be online. Please contact us if you still can't reach your service.
